Keeping Busy in Crazyville
This week Spin Cycle writing prompt is busy.
Life in Crazyville is always busy. Between young kids, family commitments and the desire for some sanity nothing sits idle for long. The older kids have been off of school for two weeks and have one more week at home. Last week they were with my in-laws at the their farm. They got to milk cows, collect chicken eggs, visit a zoo, lunch/ice cream with Grandpa, walk the famed Devil’s Head State Park and visit with their cousins. According to my mother-in-law their heads hit the pillow hard every night. This week the girls had math enrichment classes. Since there was no bus, I fought morning rush hour traffic to get them to school and then scramble to drop Revin’ Roger off at preschool. The moment the doors opened at preschool I dashed across town to pick up the girls. Ugg, the drive was very taxing but worth it if they learn to love math.
The girls final week at home will have lots of playdates and lunch at the park. My kids love the outside and sunshine so I plan to overload them with both before the snow flies.
On a personal note, I kept busy by blogging about our trip and a new spin class.
